Susie's Chocolate Chip Cookie
1 3/4 cups butter
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
1 3/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Cream together and then add:
3 cups old-fashioned oats
3 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup pecan or walnuts
1 cup coconut
I like to make these cookies big. Scoop out by spoonful onto a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375°. Place cookie sheet on the middle oven rack. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Million Dollar Chocolate Chip Cookie
2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups blended oatmeal*
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) chocolate bar (grated)
3 cups nuts
*Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, chocolate bar and nuts. Roll into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 350° on middle oven rack. Makes about 112 cookies (recipe may be cut in half).
Trudy's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie
1/2 lb. butter
2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups mashed pumpkin
1/2 tsp lemon extract
Cream above ingredients together.Then add:
2 cup nuts
2 cup raisins
2 cup chocolate chips
4 cups flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. With a tablespoon or larger, scoop out heaping spoonfuls of cookie dough and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Cook at 400° for 12-15 minutes. Cooking time may vary according to scoop size.
Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookie
1 3/4 cups butter
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
1 1/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
3 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups coconut
1 bag butterscotch chips
1 bag milk chocolate chips
1 cup nuts
Cream together butter, brown sugar, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add oatmeal, flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix ingredients with creamed ingredients. Add coconut, butterscotch chips, chocolate chips and nuts. Mix with other ingredients. Spoon out onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes on center rack or until lightly brown.
Extraordinary Chocolate Chip Cookie
1 1/2 cups butter (softened)
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
4 cups organic all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups chocolate chips
2 cups chopped nuts
In large bowl beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs at medium speed until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Dough will be stiff. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop by tablespoons or #40 cookie/ice cream scoop 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly. Bake at 350° for 11 to 13 minutes or until brown. Centers will be soft. Cool 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet onto cooling rack. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
Monster Cookie
1/2 lb. of butter
6 eggs
1 lb. brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
1/2 tbsp. vanilla
Cream ingredients together well, then add:
1/2 tbsp. corn syrup
3 1/2 tsps. baking soda
9 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 lbs. peanut butter
1/2 lb. chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together thuroughly. With an ice cream scoop drop cookie dough on an ungreased cookie sheet (6 to a sheet). Bake in preheated oven at 350° on center rack for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Banana Nut Chocolate Chip Cookie
Cream together:
2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3 bananas
1/2 cup sour cream
After the above ingredients are thoroughly mixed together, mix in:
11/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 cups flour
Mix all these ingredients together well. Now I’ll give you some options to add, but you will need to add at least some of these ingredients if not all of them. When baking cookies everyone has their individual tastes. It is always advisable to make a new cookie recipe your own. Add things you like and subtract things you don’t. Who knows your cookie may turn out better than the original recipe.
